CHEP announces new contract with leading sustainable brand, The Cheeky Panda


Supply chain specialist CHEP, which serves primarily the consumer-packaged goods and retail sector, has recently signed a contract with The Cheeky Panda, a sustainable brand of household, baby and beauty products.

The UK-based brand offers sustainable alternatives to normal household products, and uses ecofriendly, fast-growing bamboo to manufacture a wide range such as toilet paper, kitchen roll, facial tissues, biodegradable baby wet and dry wipes, nappies, and make-up remover wipes. The B-Corp certified company wants to bring sustainability to the mass market, inspiring people to ditch the mundane in favour of products that fit a happier and healthier future.

The Cheeky Panda was attracted to CHEP as its pallet supplier for its green credentials and sustainability efforts, which mirrors the ethos of its own brand. As a pioneer of the circular economy through its share and reuse pallets, CHEP’s partnership with The Cheeky Panda will further enhance its sustainability credentials, assisting to remove waste from its supply chain and help it to adopt a ‘zero to landfill’ approach.  

Last year CHEP reached its sustainability target to use only 100% sustainably sourced timber and achieved 100% zero waste to landfill for wood, and these were attractive qualities for The Cheeky Panda, as co-founder Chris Forbes explains:

Implementing innovation in the supply chain is not always easy but CHEP came to us with a share & reuse solution in an easy to implement way and it was a no brainer.
