Pallet-Track appoints Caroline Green MBE

Logistics business Pallet-Track has appointed Caroline Green MBE as its new chief financial officer, a newly-created role to help deliver on the firm’s ambitious growth strategy and look beyond the UK’s looming Brexit deadline.

The executive appointment of the financial high-flier also further increases the female representation on the Pallet-Track board, as Caroline joins finance director Gail Maltby and operations director Lisa Burrows at the top table in what is still a largely male dominated industry. 

 With a wide ranging background across a number of sectors, Caroline, who began her career in the supply chain of global copying giant Xerox, joins Pallet-Track from ReBound Returns where she was chief operating and finance officer. 

Caroline has also served as a non-executive director at the British Business Bank PLC, a government-backed initiative to support small to medium sized enterprises, initially as an appointee of Vince Cable the then Business Secretary in David Cameron’s coalition administration. 

Based at Pallet-Track’s 276,000sq ft hub in Wolverhampton, Caroline has spent her first few weeks at the business visiting the network’s 90-plus members across all four corners of the UK. 

“I love working in operational businesses and getting to know how they work from the ground up,” said Caroline, who lives with her husband and daughter in Bromsgrove.

“My role is very much about looking forward and working with Nigel, the board and our members to make sure we have capacity on an ongoing basis and deliver on the future strategic plan for Pallet-Track.”
