Fleetmaxx Solutions has opened a new office in Berwick-upon-Tweed, despite the new Covid-19 restrictions in place for the North East. As a fuel card service provider, the company is aiming to keep businesses moving and people’s livelihoods growing even during these challenging times.

The new office has opened in Unit 10 The Chandlery, overlooking the visual drama of the Old Bridge spanning the River Tweed. Fleetmaxx Solutions is now close to the A1, with an easy-to-reach destination between Edinburgh and Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

During this crisis, the group has been helping more than 50,000 customers in business. These organisations include HGV operators, hauliers, essential service operators, plumbers, builders, electricians, entrepreneurs, transport managers, fleet operators, sole traders, owner drivers and start-up companies that are keeping this nation on its feet.

Fleetmaxx Solutions' parent company is Oilfast Ltd, which is a substantial bulk fuel, lubricant and licensed Adblue distributor. So, as a group, its has been secure in its staff retention during this Covid-19 situation. It is now looking to find the best of the best to join the company.

Fuel Cards General Manager, Lee Chadbourne will be responsible for building up the team in Fleetmax Berwick. His goal is to add value and genuinely deliver promises “where fairness is important”. He says: “People deserve to be treated right. That means speaking to them and investing time with them to get to know their business needs. I give the same amount of attention to a sole trader with a van as I would a director managing a 100-truck operation. When they talk to me, they may be seeking a keen price, but they also want to know they’re being treated fairly.”

The fuel card range at Fleetmaxx Solutions is accepted at BP, Esso, Shell, and Texaco sites as well as supermarkets (Fuelgenie), independent retailers and specialist diesel networks, such as Keyfuels and UKfuels.
