The Port Authority of Barcelona has signed a Framework Contract with Ardanuy Ingeniería to launch this new Control Centre. The Company will participate in all phases of the work (functional design, defining the works to be carried out, assistance in selecting the best offers from different contractors and Works Management).
Ardanuy Ingeniería will coordinate the implementation of the Railway Control Centre for the Port of Barcelona. The Consulting Company has signed a two-year, extendable contract with the Port Authority of Barcelona.
The company will be involved in the entire life cycle of this new railway facility from its functional design, to defining the works that will need to be contracted, assistance in selecting the best Contractor’s offers and, in its final stage, carrying out the Works Management for the different projects that will be executed.
The future railway control center will manage and coordinate the Railway Operation of the Port of Barcelona. This will include a Centralised Traffic Control Centre (CTC) as well as the remote controls and subsystems deemed necessary.
