Clipper & Vestel announce strategic partnership

Clipper Logistics Technical Services Division has been appointed Vestel's strategic brown goods service partner for the UK. Clipper will provide Vestel with a range of solutions including product refurbishment, provision of spare parts and ecommerce solutions.

The Clipper Technical Services Division manages over one million returns per annum, with revenues of £20 million, and was established following Clipper's acquision of Servicecare Support Services Ltd and RepairTech Ltd in 2014 and 2017 respectively. As part of the new partnership agreement, the division will be servicing some of Vestel's best-known brands, including its brand licensed business, Toshiba TVs.

Steve Bowerman, Head of Technical and Service Support at Vestel, says: "Clipper Technical Services impressed us with their expertise and experience gained over many years in the industry.

"Combined with the reassurance and peace of mind that comes with the Clipper brand, we are confident that we have found the right long-term strategic partner for our business, who can scale-up their services as we continue with our rapid growth plans."

Clipper's services to Vestel also include the service and repair of TVs, large format displays and set top boxes, as well as the management of logistics services.

Richard Costello, Managing Director of Clipper Technical Services, says: "We are delighted to be working with Vestel as their strategic brown goods partner, and to have been selected based on our reputation and specialist understanding of the industry. Our team is committed to providing an excellent service across all sectors of our partnership. With RepairTech and Servicecare now operating as a team under one umbrella, we are perfectly positioned to deliver the services required by Vestel in an exceptionally positive growth period for them."
