Linde Material Handling (UK) Limited, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of forklift trucks, has achieved triple certification to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, OHSAS 18001:2007 signifying Linde's health and safety commitment and ISO 14001:2015 signifying its environmental commitment. This was undertaken by the British Standards Institute.
ISO 9001 original registration for quality management was previously awarded in 1985, but OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015 are new accolades for the company.
The certificates demonstrate Linde's dedication to quality, health and safety and outstanding environmental commitments.
Linde has successfully implemented the high standards set by the BSI requirements, demonstrating Quality and Health and safety across all departments and employees.
With environmental concerns at the forefront of the logistics industry, ISO 14001:2015 recognises Linde has implemented effective environmental management systems to measure and improve its impact. Linde has achieved a system that supports employees and provides a more consistent level of service to our customers across the network.
Dave Clifton, Linde's UK systems manager said: "These certificates show we are being recognised by the British Standards Institute (BSI) as a company dedicated to quality, health and safety and outstanding environmental commitment.
"We put ourselves forward to be tested by BSI because we believed we would meet their high standards across the board and I'm proud we passed with flying colours having been tested across our UK sites.
"These certificates are recognised worldwide, and we are delighted to achieve this status and gain this recognition.
"These certificates demonstrate we are a forward-thinking company and our belief in continually implementing and improving effective systems highlights our strong company values."
