Once again, commercial vehicle safety specialists, Sentinel Systems, will be exhibiting at this year's APSE Fleet, Waste and Grounds Seminar in Aviemore.
Running from 15 – 18 May 2018, the seminar will host various presentations addressing the pressures faced by vehicle operators in the public sector. Exhibitors and key speakers will also present the many solutions and innovations that can improve and assist the services run by local authorities such as waste collection, a particularly key sector for Sentinel Systems.
Sentinel Systems' Scotland-based sales and technical support team will be exhibiting at the show to demonstrate the company's range of solutions to improve the safety of municipal vehicles, including the Auto-Braking radar system, which have been widely adopted across Scotland and the UK.
The Gloucestershire-based company operates nationwide with a sales and technical support team who offer unrivalled service support for public sector vehicles. With solutions including 360° camera systems, reversing and auto-braking radars, the LED Cycle Sign and the award-winning Bike Hotspot cyclist safety system, Sentinel works closely with local authorities to install its products to refuse collection vehicles and other municipal vehicles, helping operators to make daily operations safer.
Allan Roberston, Director at Sentinel Systems commented, "We are delighted to be exhibiting again at this year's APSE Seminar in Aviemore amongst some great names within the industry. Since our recent expansion, which has enabled us to offer a dedicated service in Scotland and Northern England, we have worked with some great companies and municipalities to improve the safety of their fleets. Exhibiting at this seminar will also allow us to grow our relationship with the public sector and demonstrate to more companies the great benefits of our vehicle safety systems."
Sentinel Systems has invested heavily in product design and research to ensure that it offers the most effective safety products on the market. Now with a wide range of solutions that can eliminate the potential threat posed to vulnerable road users by large vehicles, Sentinel Systems can help to reduce the number of accidents, injuries and even fatalities that involve municipal and commercial vehicles on UK roads.
The company's most recent update of its reversing radar and auto-braking systems will be on display on the Sentinel Systems stand in the exhibition hall. The company has been developing this patented system over many years to produce an innovative reversing aid whose advanced functions can prevent collisions with third party vehicle and properties as well as pedestrians and cyclists, whilst protecting the vehicle itself from any damage. Having the system installed not only encourages responsible driving but could potentially save municipalities a significant amount of money in insurance claims and vehicle or property damage repairs, which is a key consideration when protecting the reputation of local authorities.
Sentinel Systems prides itself in its relationship with its customers and offers unrivalled support from the initial specification stage, right through to commissioning and technical support. The company works closely with each of its customers to find the right system that meets each of the specific requirements and produces a tailored package to reflect operators' individual circumstances. All of Sentinel's product systems are installed by the company's in-house team of highly experienced engineers, who also provide system training, services and 24/7 service support.
