Clugston Distribution, part of the privately owned Clugston Group, which also has interests in construction, facilities management and property development, has appointed Tim Doggett as distribution director.
Doggett joins Clugston Distribution from Rhenus Logistics, where he held the position of general manager and was responsible for the organisation's sales and operations across the North West region.
He brings a wealth of commercial, general and senior management experience, having also worked as the regional director for Europa Worldwide Logistics Group, overseeing locations in Northern England and Scotland.
With over 25 years in the logistics industry across road, air, sea and warehousing distribution channels, Doggett's other previous positions include senior roles at UPS, RH Stevens and H&S Handel und Transport.
Robert (Bob) Vickers, Clugston Group chief executive, said: "We are delighted to welcome Tim Doggett to the Group. His experience across a broad range of logistics roles will be vital to the division as we continue to examine ways to further expand our offering to both new and existing customers."
