Truck manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus UK supplied Derbyshire based M & J Haulage (Midlands) Ltd. with a new MAN TGX 26.440 XLX cab to mark director's special birthday.
M & J Haulage (Midlands) Ltd. director, Martyn Worthington purchased the vehicle to mark his 50th birthday. The TGX will be the first brand new vehicle to the fleet of 8 MAN TopUsed vehicles.
Martyn says, the new truck is a real eyecatcher and will be the showpiece of the fleet and there is sure to be strong competition among the firm's drivers and himself for a chance to get behind the wheel.
He said: "I liked it instantly and having talked to our MAN sales executive we were convinced that it was worth the extra investment.
"We've had a light fit bar fitted as well other extras to really make this truck stand out.
"We pride ourselves in our fleet – they are a real stand out bunch. MAN is all I have ever known and they never fail to deliver. They are reliable and our drivers love them.
"The purchase of the vehicle coincided nicely with my 50th birthday in August and its delivery topped off the birthday celebrations nicely."
The truck will be operating across the country. Martyn added: "All our 9 trucks are MAN. We really appreciate the flexibility in service opportunities we receive through our dealer HRVS Group Limited."
