Le Papillon Vert Ltd., the online retailer and wholesaler of French baskets and other seasonal giftware, has outsourced responsibility for its order fulfilment processes to Berkshire-based, Walker Logistics Ltd.
Established in 2010, Le Papillon Vert's business has successfully grown year on year and with the introduction of a wholesale offering, is poised for further growth.
To keep pace with this growth, the company's founder and owner, Rebecca Cooke, decided to seek professional supply chain support.
Rebecca commented: "We are now shipping to customers in the UK and all over the world, and outsourcing our logistics process allows us to concentrate all our efforts on continuing to increase sales and expand as a company."
Le Papillon Vert's stock will be housed within Walker's dedicated multi-user fulfilment centre close to the M4.
Every order is protected by an 'inflatable pillow' during the packing process to ensure that baskets reach Le Papillon Vert's client in optimum condition.
William Walker, sales director of Walker Logistics, commented: "Le Papillon Vert is now a truly global brand and, as such, had reached a tipping point in its development where it no longer made sense for the company to manage its supply chain function in-house.
"By outsourcing to Walker Logistics, Rebecca and her team have freed up time to focus their attention on developing the business and, of course, on continuing to source top quality baskets from suppliers around the world."
