Macfarlane launches new protective packaging products at Packaging Innovations

Macfarlane Packaging, the UK distributor of protective packaging materials, is launching new packing products designed for the retail and industrial markets, during Packaging Innovations event at the Birmingham NEC (1st to 2nd March).

The exciting new products being launched at the show include:

  • Bubble Wrap Expressions- In partnership with Sealed Air, Macfarlane is launching 'Bubble Wrap IB Expressions' an on-demand inflatable cushioning product available in a range of vibrant colours and patterns, which can be branded. At the Macfarlane Packaging stand, E13, there will be a selection from the Expressions bubble range including heart shaped, smiley face and thank you messaging (see image).
  • The Postal Cube - This is a completely new concept in cardboard design to reduce the wastage and storage of regular postal tubes. The postal cube comes flat on a roll and can be dispensed and cut to size as required (see image). It is square, not the usual round shape, which is more courier-friendly.
  • Airsac® RapidFlow - This new fully automated inflation solution is designed for protecting very fragile goods. The new RapidFlow is 100% recyclable and has been designed for high demand packing operations, speeding up inflation time and enabling retailers to get their goods quickly dispatched.
  • Geami WrapPak - a new range of colours for this eco-friendly protective paper packaging solution will also be launched at the show. Geami's WrapPak is an innovative packaging solution developed by Ranpak in partnership with Macfarlane (see image).
