Electric tug specialist MasterMover will be exhibiting at LogiMAT

Electric tug specialist MasterMover will be exhibiting a wide range of products at the LogiMAT show in Stuttgart, Germany.

The logistics event takes place from March 14–16, 2017 at the new Stuttgart trade fair centre. The company will be exhibiting on stand 9D61 in Hall 9, where visitors from sectors including warehousing, operations and materials handling, can view live demonstrations.

LogiMAT is the biggest annual intralogistics exhibition in Europe and focuses on distribution, materials handling and informational flow. The show displays the sector's most innovative products and is a benchmark for new trends in the sector. In 2016, the show hosted 1,281 exhibitors from 32 countries as well as 43,466 visitors.

MasterMover will be attending the show for the fifth time, where the company plans to build on its existing dealer network. Representatives from MasterMover's UK and German offices will be available to discuss the company's products and demonstrate the ease of using electric tugs to move heavy loads.

"The rise of new trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT) combined with changing consumer behaviour means that businesses need take a more flexible and innovative approach to their logistics," explains Andy Owen, managing director of MasterMover. "The increase in order volumes requires semi-automated processes and products that reduce inefficiencies and wasted time.

"To solve a variety of logistics problems MasterMover has developed a range of electric tugs, including the SmartMover, MasterTug, All Terrain Pusher and All Terrain TOW to help small and large businesses improve their operations. By seeing the products in action, we hope that people will be able to visualise the effects that semi-automated production lines could have in their factories."

By using MasterMover's electric tugs, companies can streamline their processes. Workers do less manual handling, spend less time waiting for fork-lift trucks to be available and can move large products with a single pedestrian operator.

The tugs can be used in a variety of applications. For example, the SmartMover is suited to the most confined spaces and allows a single pedestrian operator to move up to 1,200kg. In contrast, the MT1500+ uses AC drive motors and hydraulic weight transfer to move loads up to 15,000kg over 180 degrees.
