Berkshire-based fulfilment specialist, Walker Logistics, has secured new contracts to provide a range of supply chain services to three very different clients.
Walker will deliver B2B, B2C and re-work fulfilment support to each of the businesses.
The new client companies are:
- Wild at Heart Foods - An award-winning producer of pestos, condiments and sauces made from traditionally wild and native fruits. The company supplies retailers as well as the public directly via its website and has grown to the point where operating a more streamlined supply chain will assist further growth.
- Bagworkshop.com – a company that manufactures and sources a range of bespoke promotional products. In addition to storage and distribution, Walker's role involves 'sanitising' sourced items after arrival and storing them before onward fulfilment to Bagworkshop.com's customers.
- Anyvan.com. The anyvan.com website allows a range of 'man and a van' logistics and removal services to be booked and, as part of a promotional campaign, users qualify for a complimentary bottle of Moet & Chandon if they recommend a friend to the site. The contract involves an amount of re-work for Walker who, in addition to storing and delivering the champagne, is adding anyvan.com branding to the bottles.
William Walker, sales and marketing director of Walker Logistics, commented: "We are clearly very pleased to be able to announce these contract wins and look forward to working closely with all three companies in the months ahead and helping them to develop their businesses by maximising the efficiency of their supply chains."
