A hard-hitting new forklift safety video from Mentor Training has been shortlisted for a Design 4 Safety Award. The video targets both fork lift truck drivers and the staff working alongside them.

Safely Working with Lift Trucks has been specially developed to engage viewers and challenge the behaviour at the root of unsafe practice.

Organised by the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA), and hosted at the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX), the Design 4 Safety Awards recognise outstanding design in products and services aimed at improving safety standards.

Managing Director, Stuart Taylor explains: "We are very proud to have been shortlisted for this award. Safely Working with Lift Trucks has received excellent reviews from everyone that has seen it, and we are confident it will be a great resource for instructors, health and safety officers and those managing forklift operations, too."

"The Could you live with that? dramatisation is particularly engaging for viewers. It drives home the real-world consequences of a forklift accident – not just for those involved, but for their family, their friends and their colleagues. It is a high impact film which really engages viewers: influencing their attitudes and encouraging them to challenge unsafe behaviour."

Safely Working with Lift Trucks will be officially launched at IMHX, where attendees will be able to catch a full preview at Mentor's stand, 12W80.
