Businesses looking to revolutionise their transport management processes should visit the 3T Logistics stand to view the next generation of transport applications at this year's Multimodal event, says the company's CEO Steve Twydell.

Transport management experts 3T (www.3t-europe.com) will demonstrating their range of standalone applications when they attend the exhibition for the third consecutive year at the NEC in Birmingham on Tuesday 10th May. Multimodal is one of the largest logistics exhibitions in the UK.

CEO Steve will be at this year's Multimodal and is excited by the prospect of showing visitors how the company's products can make a difference to their transport operations.

"It's hard to explain to potential customers what our systems can really do, so it's great to get the chance to show people first-hand how these applications could revolutionise their transport management – and save them a lot of money in the process," he comments. "These products have been several years in development and utilise the very latest technology – they really are the future of transport management."

At the stand (555), 3T will be demonstrating their transport management system Solo, along with bay management application DOCK and BIP, 3T's business intelligence platform which provides real time data and reports.

Solo is a modular TMS which automates processes, giving end to end visibility and control of a transport solution. DOCK facilitates a more effective management of deliveries and dispatch, reducing costs whilst improving service levels. Dock is available as a standalone application or as part of Solo.

Set up in the year 2000, 3T have worked with a range of international companies for over 15 years including JCB and Linpac, helping to streamline processes and reduce transport cost. All the 3T applications and platforms have been developed in-house in response to changing needs and technological advances.

"Mobile technology has huge potential to transform the logistics industry – a potential which is yet to be properly explored," adds Steve. "It is capable of handling massive amounts of data, communicating information instantly to manufacturers, hauliers and their customers. At Multimodal, we aim to show visitors how this technology it could transform their business." .

Now in its 9th year, Multimodal brings together all logistics sectors in one place, including air, road and marine transport. Over 10,000 visitors are expected at the event which runs from Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th May. Free to attend, it also includes a range of seminars and networking events as well as the annual Multimodal awards.

3T Logistics are exhibiting at stand 555, near to the Multimodal VIP Centre.
