Jaama, the UK fleet industry asset management software system provider, is to exhibit on stand 3H81 at the Commercial Vehicle Show for the first time this year.

Jaama's multi award-winning web based vehicle and driver management solution, Key2, is one of the UK's most frequently recommended fleet software solutions and the Commercial Vehicle Show is a key event for fleet decision-makers, transport operators, senior manager and engineers with most having sole or joint purchasing responsibility within their companies.

Indeed Jaama is so confident in its Key2 technology that visitors to the company's Commercial Vehicle Show stand will be entitled to a day's free post-event consultancy in their office in a free to enter draw. This year's Commercial Vehicle Show, the largest and the most comprehensive road transport and logistics event held in Britain, is once again being held at the NEC in Birmingham, from 26-28 April.

UK organisations collectively operating more than 650,000 commercial vehicles and cars currently use Key2 and that number is expected to grow significantly further in 2016. Jaama, an Associate member of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and a partner to the Freight Transport Association's Van Excellence scheme, is firmly focused on helping fleets achieve compliance best practice through implementation of Key2. Many Jaama customers have already achieved FORS bronze, silver or gold accreditation and are also Van Excellence accredited.

With both standards becoming ever-more crucial in the battle to win business and show compliance requirements are being met, alongside employers being a member of the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) community to revolutionise the management of work-related road risk, Key2 is being used by organisations to meet legislative standards.

The myriad of modules available to commercial vehicle operators using Key2 include, for example:

  • Defect management reporting with 'walk round' vehicle appraisals
  • Operator Licence management with Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS) data recorded against individual vehicles
  • Plant management
  • Employee driver licence validation
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) management
  • Accurate vehicle maintenance management to keep vehicle downtime to a minimum

Cost management is also operator critical and with Key2 delivering online flexibility, touch screen technology, single-source in depth management reporting and across-department integration and accessibility, an ever-increasing number of fleet decision-makers are turning to Jaama's software to manage their drivers and transport operations as well as a multitude of other assets.

Key2 is the most advanced, flexible web-based product on the market, and with Jaama's on-going development and investment the system is at the forefront of innovative management for commercial vehicle operators.

Built for the Microsoft.NET framework and using 'Smart Client' technology, Key2 Vehicle Management is an intuitive, easy to navigate, simple to use yet functionally-packed web-based tool.

The functionally rich system enables reports to be produced, saved, scheduled and distributed, enabling operators to manage by exception and make strategic business decisions.

What's more Jaama's cutting-edge Key2 technology this year achieved best-in-class accreditation to the much sought after Microsoft Gold standard.

To achieve Microsoft Gold competency, Jaama completed a rigorous series of tests to prove its level of technology expertise, submitted client references and employ Microsoft Certified Professionals. Furthermore, the company conducted a complete review of customer services and introduced a range of further enhancements to demonstrate its commitment to the satisfaction of clients.

Jaama managing director Martin Evans said: "Many commercial vehicle fleets have invested in our Key2 technology to improve operating efficiencies and compliance as they realise current practices are no longer suitable due to ever changing business and legislative demands.

"Whether historically using a spreadsheet system or outdated software, many organisations have recognised that if they 'spend to save' they will reap significant cost savings and administration efficiencies and meet their compliance obligations."

Major Jaama customers include: DHL Express, DHL International, Interserve, JCT 600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions, Luton Borough Council, MITIE, Prohire, Sheffield Insulation Group, Skanska, Speedy, Seven Asset Management and Serco.
