Palletforce creates Member Relations Director post

Palletforce, the UK palletised distribution network, has appointed David Breeze as Member Relations Director.

The newly-created position has been established to ensure full support and continued development for existing Palletforce members, and to recruit new members when required.

David, who will take up his role in January 2016, began his career in parcels operations management and contract logistics with Exel, before heading the UK and international divisions of DPD and Target Express.

For the last 10 years he has held senior roles developing existing and new networks for Royal Mail businesses.

David said: "Palletforce is a by-word for quality and service, but its strength derives from its members.

"Members' input is crucial, and in the next few months I'm looking forward to meeting as many as possible to help develop this new role to the benefit of all."

David will be reporting to Palletforce chief executive officer Michael Conroy, who said: "I'm delighted to welcome David to the team. This key appointment underpins our commitment to delivering highest quality services and is part of our ongoing strategic investment plan that includes new infrastructure, IT developments and personnel across the whole business.
