Dematic completes acquisition of Reddwerks

Dematic, global supplier of integrated automated technology, software and services to optimise the supply chain, has announced the completion of its acquisition of Reddwerks Corporation.

The acquired company is a developer of Warehouse Execution Software (WES) that provides customers with real-time decision engines to optimise material and information flow in the supply chain. Reddwerks will operate as a subsidiary of Dematic under the tradename Dematic Reddwerks, offering an enhanced software suite that provides responsive order fulfilment to Dematic and Dematic Reddwerks customers.

Ulf Henriksson, Dematic President and CEO stated, "We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Reddwerks and to promote our ability to design, develop and deliver "On Demand" software solutions that will enhance automation technologies to dynamically optimise warehouse and distribution functions."
