Graphic Packaging International has invested £480,000 in new vehicles to support outbound logistics from our UK sites.
Over the years we have expanded from using 7.5 tonne trucks, to new 18 tonne trucks. A new 18 tonne rigid truck will increase carrying capacity to 18 pallets, with minimal additional operational costs. Another five traction units will also be added to the GPI fleet.
Ian Widdowson, Group Warehouse and Distribution Manager, commented "This investment helps increase our delivery capacity, improving our customer service. Our lorries are a great form of advertising of our brand in the UK. We are proud to be able to add to our fleet with these new vehicles."
Graphic Packaging International is a UK printed folding carton supplier, producing packaging products for the food and beverage retail industry for a wide range of UK and European customers.
