Renovotec, the rugged systems, services and infrastructure provider for logistics, distribution and retail companies, is launching 'Warehouse Doctor', a free health check service that assesses warehouse technology systems and infrastructure, operations and processes before making recommendations for improvement that if implemented could improve warehouse performance by up to 30% for some companies, cut costs and deliver a rapid return on investment, say Renovotec.

Warehouse Doctor typically makes recommendations for improvement that require incremental investment, rejecting the more common 'change all' approach, according to the company.

Logistics industry research* reveals that the top two priorities for warehouse and logistics managers are operational efficiency and customer service accuracy. "Only a smart, joined up warehouse environment with well-tuned technology and optimised handling and storage processes can hope to meet those goals in a competitive marketplace" comments Renovotec managing director Richard Gilliard. "Warehouse Doctor takes a fresh look at warehouse infrastructure and operations, finding ways to do so."

*Research amongst 375 transport and logistics managers: conducted by independent research company Vanson Bourne and commissioned by Intermec by Honeywell.
