Immediate Transportation has become the latest member of leading palletised distribution network Palletforce – strengthening the network’s London services.

The family run firm, which operates out of Heathrow and has four other offices in Basildon, Liverpool, Felixstowe and Hornchurch, joins the network from Palletline.

The company, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, is directed by Reg Mantel and sons Stephen and Michael.

“We have always been aware of the quality of the Palletforce network and are absolutely delighted to finally be joining them,” said Stephen Mantel, Director of Immediate Transportation.

“After celebrating our 100th anniversary last year we wanted to look at how we could restructure our pallet network and Palletforce gave us the best opportunity to grow our business and advance our territories.

“The quality standards, such as the recent sixth RoSPA gold award and the IT systems were also a big draw for us and we are looking forward to an extremely successful future for ourselves and our customers as a Palletforce member.”

Immediate Transportation employs 60 members of staff offering road, air and ocean freight forwarding services.  As a member, they will be able to offer their customers a wide range of technology-led logistics services both in the UK and across Europe.

They become the fourth new member to join the network this year and will be covering TW and UB postcodes around Heathrow Airport.

Michael Conroy, Chief Executive Officer of Palletforce, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to welcome such a fantastic company like Immediate Transportation.

“Immediate Transportation is a long-established company, which brings years of experience and knowledge to our network. It’s the people within such companies combined with the best network in the sector that re-affirms our position as the network of choice for quality.
