Harland Simon will be attending ProMat 2015 in Chicago between 23-26 March to showcase its warehouse and logistics asset tracking systems. The Vero suite of solutions improves accuracy, traceability and safety in warehouse operations and manufacturing processes to deliver enhanced efficiency and cost savings.

Vero features the latest RFID location-aware technology and is made up of four key modules: VeroCapture, VeroSafety, VeroTrack and VeroLink. These modules can be used independently or integrated as part of a total logistics system to ensure operators are in complete control of their warehouse assets.

Harland Simon representatives will be on hand to explain to visitors the many benefits of Vero. This includes how VeroCapture can be installed to optimise the processes and movement of inventory, improving efficiency and cutting costs by reducing the amount of time required to move each pallet – often by up to 15 seconds. In addition, the representatives will explain how VeroSafe tracks people and MHE (material-handling equipment) in real-time to prevent collisions, accidents and damage by providing location aware alerts. This improves working conditions for staff and visitors, while also improving the efficiency of warehouse operations.

Commenting on Harland Simon attending ProMat 2015, Charlie Brackley, Sales Manager at Harland Simon, said: "At the event, Harland Simon will be demonstrating the way in which VeroSafe functions using a real-time example of the solution. Visitors to the booth can experience VeroSafe first hand and see for themselves the effectiveness and benefits of Vero."

Hosted at Chicago's McCormick Place (South), ProMat 2015 brings together leading technology for manufacturing, distribution and supply chain equipment and systems. Visitors to the event will find Harland Simon at Booth 5628.
