A growing freight handling company based at Heathrow Airport has invested around £20,000 in specialist lifting equipment from Somerstotalkare.

Founded in 1998, Goldstar Heathrow handles airfreight traveling through the UK's largest airport and in 2013 it moved into new workshop facilities to manage and repair its ever-expanding fleet of over 100 tractor units and 70 plus trailers.

More recently the company has invested in a range of Somerstotalkare equipment, including a new set of Cable Free Lifts and Trailer Beam designed to specifically lift trailers in conjunction with the column lifts from the UK's leading supplier of heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions.

Roddy Taylor, Transport Manager at Goldstar Heathrow, commented: "In order to maintain our fleet of trailers and trucks it is imperative we have a reliable solution for our workshop equipment.

"We pride ourselves on customer service and require the same from our suppliers in order to maintain our own high standards. Somerstotalkare provided us with the equipment solution but more importantly it can provide us with the aftersales care we require in order to keep our vehicles on the road and keep our customers happy."

Goldstar Heathrow, a recipient of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Bronze Award, takes pride in its customer service standards and providing reliable transport solutions throughout the UK.

James Radford, Sales Director at Somerstotalkare, added: "We are proud to be working with a company such as Goldstar Heathrow, which provides a high quality of product and service within the industry. We also pride ourselves on the service we provide and are pleased to be working with a company that shares those same values."
