The NOVUS Trust has released a new film to inspire young people to become tomorrow's supply chain professionals. The film provides a tremendous insight into the exciting opportunities offered by the industry backed NOVUS degree scheme, which provides a graduate with a guaranteed job in logistics and supply chain management.

You can watch the film on YouTube HERE

One of the movie's stars, graduate Naomi Phillips, is now in a fantastic fashion logistics job with a third party logistics company (3PL). In the film, she explains how the logistics and supply chain degree combines subjects such as business, economics and management. However, compared to standalone degrees in these popular subjects, there is a much higher demand for jobs at the end of it.

Current logistics students also co-star in the film. They tell viewers what inspires them; how they benefit from the scheme's mentoring and its balance of academic / practical studies, which relates anything learned in university to real industry; and ultimately the uniqueness of being part of the scheme with a guaranteed job at the end.

The NOVUS scheme is now linked to a BA (Hons) Business with Supply Chain Management (UCAS CODE N202) as well as a BSc (Hons) Logistics Management and Supply Chain (UCAS CODE N9H7) at the University of Huddersfield – the University of the Year.

Andy Kaye, chair of the NOVUS Scheme and founder of BiS Henderson, said: "The NOVUS scheme has been designed in partnership with leading businesses to channel future leaders into supply chain management, because this sector wants people who are driven, bright, capable and want to work for majors driving UK PLC."

He added: "I would urge anybody who is making decisions about their career and degree, to watch the new NOVUS movie – it could be the most inspiring 3 minutes and 23 seconds of their life."
