A UK member-owned logistics provider, Plus Logistics, is being launched by the national network of hauliers behind the successful Palletline business.

Plus Logistics will offer the UK and Europe a new range of contract logistics services including warehousing and storage, through the night, pick and pack, consolidation services right through to click and collect.

Speaking at the national launch, Managing Director, Kevin Buchanan, said: "Plus Logistics is the next stage in our development and our whole team, from the people working in our head office and regional hubs to our 69 members, are very excited about what the future holds. With the combined resource of 69 member organisations working across 79 locations, PLUS Logistics will have unrivalled infrastructure, a wealth of experience from its members and long established partnerships. Within our network, Plus Logistics has everything you might need to deliver the perfect solution for customers - 22 years' experience, 12,000 dedicated and committed employees and a network that reaches out across the UK and Europe."

Plus Logistics, an acronym for Pallet-Line United Services will work under the strapline, The Power of Partnership. It will run alongside Palletline, which will continue to deliver the same high standard palletised freight service to customers.

When it was launched 22 years ago, Palletline was an industry first. The business has since grown beyond all expectations. Kevin continued: "The company now has similarly high ambitions for Plus Logistics. Partnership is key to everything we do. We work together in partnership to deliver the very best customer care and our business model has partnership at its core. We believe that Plus Logistics will meet a growing need in the industry and we are confident that based on our proud history of delivery, we will, once again evolve to become the first member-owned logistics network".
