Palletline and founder member company John Hackling Transport Ltd have pledged their support for a young British netball star.

The Gloucestershire based haulier and palletised distribution network were proud to donate £500 to Georgia Wing, a member of the England under 18s indoor netball team.

Georgia and her fellow teammates competed in the Indoor Netball Association Masters Tournament hosted by South Africa in September 2013, alongside the England under 30s. Both teams fought very competitively throughout the 6's and 7's competitions against South Africa and Australia.

Georgia, who lives near Hackling's Bourton-on-the-Water, played wing attack position against two South African and Australian teams, taking the team to a hard fought semi-final result.
The England under 18s team trains at Playon Sports Centre, Canary Wharf. Limited funding means that international competitions require each team member has to raise enough money to pay for travel and accommodation. Hacklings and Palletline teamed up to cover Georgia's costs.

Georgia, who has 11 caps for England, is hoping to compete in next year's world championships. Having finished her A Levels this year, Georgia will be hoping for a place on the under 21s team.

Kevin Buchanan, Managing Director of Palletline, said: "We're all very proud of Georgia. She performed well under pressure for her team and country and has clearly got a lot of potential. We wish her well next year!"
