The Palletways Group has strengthened its business after winning a new contract with OrganiCulture Ltd, an importer, distributor and retailer of organic products from Italy.

The contract, awarded to Palletways Fulfilment, the Group's warehousing solutions operation, follows a successful trial period and will see OrganiCulture Ltd outsource its domestic warehousing and distribution.

Based at the logistics firm's national hub in Fradley Park, Palletways Fulfilment will use its 100,000 sq ft facility to store products, process orders, provide a pick/pack service, and modify and re-work some of the manufacturer's popular brands.

The products will then be distributed nationally to a number of leading retail chains and wholesalers via Palletways' nationwide pallet delivery network.

Emanuele Farotti, Director of OrganiCulture Ltd, said: "As some of our products are perishable, we required a logistics firm who could provide a fast and reliable service to ensure that all our products reach customers well within the strict use-by dates. Palletways Fulfilment is the ideal fit for our needs".

"With Palletways' WEBSTOCK system, we are able to track all of our consignments, from their source in Italy, to their delivery to outlets around the UK. Having our products stored at the Palletways hub in Lichfield is another major benefit, as it allows customers to place their orders later in the day for next day delivery".

Garry Curtis, General Manager at Palletways Fulfilment said: "We are thrilled to have been awarded a contract by Organiculture Ltd. We specialise in total logistics solutions, covering collection, stock holding and management, and delivery, and understand the importance of timely and efficient deliveries. We look forward to bringing our expertise to bear for OrganiCulture Ltd".

Palletways is Europe's largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network. It consists of 300 members across Europe of which 106 are in the UK. The company's distribution networks are made up of independent transport companies who share each other's resources to deliver small consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
