Jungheinrich UK Ltd has appointed Hamid Khajehpour as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Product Manager.

With a MSc in Logistics and an HND in Mechanical Engineering, Hamid has worked in the logistics and IT sectors for over 20 years and has extensive experience in the design and implementation of warehousing and distribution operations and associated IT systems at both national and international levels.

Jungheinrich recently completed the acquisition of ISA-Innovative, a leading warehouse management systems software company, and Jungheinrich now offer an entire range of software products and services.

Steve Richmond, director of Jungheinrich UK Ltd's Systems & Projects Division, commented: "Software solutions such as warehouse management systems and materials flow systems are a crucial component of any materials handling solution and critical to any project's success – regardless of whether the solution is manual, semi-automated or fully-automated.

"The acquisition of ISA underpinned Jungheinrich's  strategy to be a provider of complete intra-logistics solutions.

"Warehouse Management and warehouse control solutions become the heartbeat of the operation and to have this total capability in-house is a major strength.

"Hamid's appointment further demonstrates our commitment to this strategy in the UK and matches our competencies and capabilities to the demands of the market place."
