The recent award by the American Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) of its Gold Label certification to Stertil Koni for its heavy duty vehicle lifts is the latest to recognise the quality of the company's manufacturing standards.

As a global player in the design and manufacture of vehicle lifting equipment, Stertil Koni is the preferred supplier to many leading companies within the worldwide truck, bus, logistics and transport industries. The company's extensive range, which includes mobile column lifts, 4-post lifts, 2-post lifts and heavy duty 4-post lifts, is widely acclaimed for its performance, reliability and innovation. The award of the ALI Gold Label certification assures customers that Stertil Koni lifts comply with all established and recognised electrical and mechanical manufacturing standards.

Commenting on this latest award, Stertil Koni's general manager, Tony Edge, says, "We are delighted that the quality of our products has been recognised by the prestigious American Automotive Lift Institute. Also, the award requires our lifts to undergo periodic re-evaluation to ensure that all production is undertaken within the requirements of a documented quality programme. Consequently, we are committed to ensuring that we maintain the highest standards throughout the manufacturing process."Within the UK, Stertil Koni vehicle lifting equipment continues to support a wide range of maintenance, repair and servicing applications across almost every industry. The company was the first to develop and launch a wireless mobile column lift and has received particular acclaim for its revolutionary Earthlift – the world's first environmentally friendly mobile column lift. All installation and servicing work is carried out by Stertil Koni's factory-trained engineers and the company holds the ISO 9001.2000 certificate and CE markings to guarantee the highest safety standards plus, as an environmentally aware company, ISO 4001:2004 certification.

Tony Edge continues, "We also fully support the ALI's recommendation that vehicle lifts are inspected at least once a year or more frequently if required. Also, alongside build quality, we agree with the ALI about the importance of routine servicing to ensure continuing reliable and effective performance. As a company we are committed to this combination of certification, servicing and inspection - three key components that are clearly elevating heavy duty lifting safety and performance to new heights."
