One year since the leading pallet network Palletforce launched its bespoke IT system Alliance it now has 2 million views per month. The ground-breaking Alliance system has proven to be a success with shareholder members of the network and customers. Developed in-house, the Alliance system offers full visibility of customers' freight at every stage and has been purpose-built to support future growth.

"Reaching the 2 million milestone shows how much impact Alliance has had on our members' operations," said Dean Hughes, IT Director at Palletforce. "Since its deployment our members have wholly embraced the new system and the benefits it can bring to them and their customers."

Alliance's functionality includes online POD information and comprehensive invoicing to provide Palletforce members with a complete IT solution. With the Alliance system now embedded throughout the network, Palletforce is forging ahead with more IT innovation and is now rolling out a market-leading ePOD system that has also been developed in-house and provides a unique service showing 'proof of location' and enhances visibility of consignments.

"We made our biggest ever IT investment in Alliance and it has paid off – but this is only the start," said Michael Conroy, Chief Executive of Palletforce. "A strong IT system with the capability to support our fantastic membership is central to our continued growth. As such we remain committed to further investment in IT and new technologies that will enhance our current services as we look to the future."
