Gloucestershire-based Golden Valley Pallet Wrap Specialists Ltd (GVPS) expects to double its turnover in the present financial year, as sales of its range of pallet wrap film and machinery continue their upward trajectory.
The company has grown year on year since it began trading in 2009, and Suzanne Griffiths, GVPS's managing director, is confident that 2012/13 will be a record year for the business.
"I do not think there is another UK company that can offer the extensive range of pallet wrap film and machinery solutions that we do," she says.
According to Griffiths, Golden Valley's success can be attributed in part to the company's policy of offering next day delivery to customers in an industry where long lead times had become the accepted norm.
She says: "When we started Golden Valley we set out to offer the highest levels of customer service by getting film to users when they need it and this has proved an extremely popular approach.
"Our clients can minimize the amount of money they have tied up in stock because they know that we can get a fresh supply of film to them as and when they want it."
Such has been the company's success that Golden Valley has recently opened an additional warehouse on its existing site at Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Suzanne Griffiths adds: "We're focused on ensuring we have the right people and products to deliver the best pallet wrap film solutions to clients in a wide range of industries. With the opening of our additional warehouse facility together with our ongoing global search for new and innovative film solutions, we feel we are entering into a new and exciting phase of our company's development."
