BRC Certification for pallet wrap specialist

Golden Valley Pallet Wrap Specialists Ltd (GVPS) the supplier of hand and machine applied pallet wrapping to the storage and logistics industries has been awarded British Retail Consortium (BRC) Accreditation in Storage and Distribution. Certification to a BRC Standard demonstrates that a company's products and processes  achieve the highest standards.

"To achieve BRC Accreditation we had to demonstrate that we have Quality Management Systems in place that ensure that all relevant document requirements are fulfilled and all systems are operating effectively and efficiently," explains Suzanne Griffiths, managing director of Golden Valley Pallet Wrap Specialists Ltd.

She continues: "For example, our traceability procedures guarantee that each pallet of film that we distribute is traceable from the customer all the way back to the supplier. This means that if a problem occurs with a product, it can be traced back to source efficiently. Documenting all procedures and constantly analysing the way we handle products, allows us to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively and confirms product quality, safety and legality."

Suzanne Griffiths adds: "We believe that we are one of the first dedicated packaging film and machinery suppliers to hold British Retail Consortium accreditation. By successfully undertaking the audit process we feel we have demonstrated our ongoing commitment to supply customers with the very best products and services at all times."
