Palletline has welcomed a new member into its premier palletised distribution network, Bedfordshire based Miniclipper Logistics. Kevin Buchanan, Palletline Managing Director, said: "We're thrilled to be joined by such a prestigious player in the industry. Hailing from an area in which it's proved challenging to find good transport companies, Miniclipper Logistics stands apart as a nationally renowned service provider. Both professionally and personally the Miniclipper team are a great fit for Palletline. Together we share the same ethos of excellence and commitment to the greater good of all members."

Jayne Masters, Sales Director for Miniclipper, said: "We've been network members for 15 years, so we know what to look for.
"Palletline's commitment to investing in technology was a significant draw. In particular, their bespoke management system will seamlessly integrate with our vehicles to enable us to generate real-time PODs meaning faster, more efficient service for customers. In terms of location, the London hub is a great fit for us. At just under an hour away, it will significantly reduce our mileage and environmental impact. Aside from the obvious commercial benefits, Palletline's member led approach is refreshing and we love the fact that we'll be a valued stakeholder in the business."

Miniclipper Logistics is well known in the industry for its fleet of state of the art vehicles and high service levels. A second generation, family owned business, the firm employs around 100 people and boasts a fast growing balance sheet, currently turning over 8million a year.

Palletline is the industry's only true cooperative and offers customers the broadest coverage of any network. Currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary, Palletline has established hubs in Birmingham, Manchester, London and a recently opened Cumbernauld site, which is set to become the nexus for Scottish palletised freight.
