ARPAC Europe Ltd and Finnish distributor and manufacturer Peterson PackSystems have announced an exclusive distribution agreement. Peterson will be providing frontline sales and technical support for the full range of Arpac's end-of-line packaging machinery in Finland.

When Arpac Europe was first set up at the end of 2010, General Manager Tony Hacker already knew of Peterson as a successful and professional distributor in one of the key geographical areas that he was targeting. Well established in the packaging industry in northern Europe, Peterson is able to offer the in-depth knowledge of the business, and local customer support, that Arpac needs to grow sales in this important region.

According to Jouni Koskinen of Peterson, "The Arpac range of machines is just what we needed to broaden our portfolio and we are confident this will be an excellent working relationship bringing additional business to both companies. We are familiarising ourselves with the full Arpac range, and interest in the machinery is growing rapidly." The Arpac range will help Peterson develop sales in parts of the Finnish market that until now it has not had the relevant machines to offer.

With over 25,000 installations worldwide, Arpac is a leading manufacturer of secondary packaging equipment including shrink wrapping machines, corrugated board tray and case packers, palletising and stretch wrapping systems. Arpac's range has many unique features designed to improve productivity and reduce the cost of ownership across a wide range of industries including food, beverage, printing, publishing, pharmaceutical, personal care, building supplies, automotive and a wide variety of industrial and consumer products.
