CargoXL, the airfreight software solutions provider, has launched its services in Asia and Europe. CargoXL targets freight forwarding companies and airlines with a software solution which enables time and cost reduction through a single source distribution.
The software solution eliminates the need to send hundreds of emails with excel documents or faxes, instead enables all messaging through a single source distribution.
These functions mean that forwarders can provide a quotation to customers within a few minutes, accessing airline data and calculating rates within seconds.
"Freight forwarders working in the airfreight sector often have a short window, in terms of time, to provide customers with the best rate in order to secure a deal. CargoXL provides forwarders with a tool that reduces the time it takes to research the rates available and complete a quotation in a few minutes. All through a single source," said Jeroen Klomp, CEO of CargoXL.
CargoXL has also introduced a software version for airlines and GSA's to distribute their rates to the freight forwarders.
The advantage to the freight forwarder is having all the rates available on one screen. CargoXL also offers tools such as weight and rate calculation, mark-up by percentage or fixed fee.
CargoXL now also incorporates a new function: the Quotation Tool. This gives the forwarder the ability to generate a complete quotation in PDF-format, showing the company logo and additional charges in just seconds. Using the 'Custom Rates' tool the forwarder can also load airline rates and complete their own rate database. This tool also gives the opportunity to use CargoXL as an in-house rate system.
