Hellmann East Europe opens new office in Ukraine

Hellmann East Europe has announced the opening of an additional office at Borispol airport, as well as a move into new and far larger premises in Kiev. With offices already in Odessa and Kharkov, it now operates from four branches in the Ukraine alone.

At its new office, Hellmann East Europe offers full-service airfreight handling, customs clearance for all incoming consignments, warehousing, picking and transports. It also has a customs brokerage license, which offers customs clearance on consignments, such as pharmaceutical articles and perishables, at the airport premises.

This service will also be offered at the seaport Odessa as well as in Kiev and Kharkov, where customs clearance for perishable goods can also be carried out. Small warehouses and further transport with small five-ton refrigerated vehicles is available for perishables.

In the last three years Hellmann East Europe has opened five branches in Russia, three in Lithuania, one each in Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, and Azerbaijan, and now the fourth branch in the Ukraine. There are a further six branches in Germany, and additional offices are due to be opened this year in central Asia.

Hellmann East Europe has employed 350 people and attained a turnover of 50 million Euros, over the last year, with a turnover target of 70 million Euros for 2011.

Hellmann East Europe's specialists have over 20 years of experience on the former Soviet state markets. Groupage for road traffic, airfreight and sea freight handling within the worldwide network of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, contract logistics and customs clearance are its core areas.

Services are offered to and from the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
