A leading private express parcel companies in Poland decided for Van Riet to implement an automatic sorting system. The customers market success and current position among courier companies operating on the Polish market, was achieved primarily due to a timely delivery and well-structured implementation of additional services, which provided continuous expanding of their customer base.
To support further growth, Van Riet will deliver a high speed automatic sorter system for the Warsaw HUB. The hart of the system is the Closed Deck HC Sorter; a shoe sorter suitable for high capacities and with a closed upper deck to prevent dirt or items to fall into the inside of the machine.
With 5 infeeds and a central five side scanning and weighing system the system supports the customer to sort much higher capacities and in less time than the current process. It thus foresees in a more efficient process and with higher quality. The customer decided for Van Riet because of its flexibility, the present local support network and the fit-for-purpose system design in this demanding industry.
