Star Auger fillers from WeighPack maximize productivity and minimize downtime with several time-saving features. Ideal for powders and granules, Star Auger fillers feature a tool-less hinged hopper that significantly reduces changeover and cleaning time. Supplied with a rubber gasket that eliminates product leakage, the quick release design allows quick access when changing the screw. Screws are custom-designed and tailored to the distinctive characteristics of each product.
 
A see-through viewing glass aids operators in seeing product in the hopper. Built with food-grade stainless steel, all tooling is easy-to-remove making product changeover, cleaning, and maintenance easily done. Equipped with PLC controls, color touch screen, and servo-driven, Star Augers operate at high speed and deliver product consistently with accuracy and precision.
 
Available in two models, the Star Auger 100 includes a 23 quart (28L) hopper with a fill range of 0.5 oz. to 1 lb. running at speeds up to 90 cpm. Star Auger 200 with a 45 quart (50L) hopper and fill range of 1 oz. to 5 lbs. operating at speeds up to 70 cpm. Options available include an automatic feedback scale that automatically recalibrates the auger to compensate for changes in product density. For products that flow easily, a double catch door is available that stops product flow between cycles further increasing accuracy and reducing product giveaway.
