Visitors to BAUMA 2010 in Munich will be the first to see Hysters latest developments as the materials handling equipment manufacturer exhibits new forklift trucks and warehouse equipment and showcases AxleTech Internationals new XTL drive axle, offered exclusively to Hyster Europe in 2010, that has been designed to reduce tyre wear and costs on Empty Container Handlers.

Hyster, together with German distribution partner Zeppelin, will be demonstrating its wide range of handling equipment suitable for a variety of demanding applications at BAUMA, in the New Munich Trade Fair Centre, from 19 April.

New Hyster heavyweight on display
Particular focus will be on the recently launched Hyster H25-32XM range of heavy duty forklifts which includes seven new trucks and two dedicated container handlers spanning 25 to 32 tonnes lifting capacity. Three models are ultra compact in size.

The new H25-32XM range is designed to offer a unique blend of high productivity, reliable proven components, fuel efficiency and outstanding driver comfort for heavy industry explains Antoon Cooijmans, Big Trucks Product Manager for Hyster Europe. They are versatile with excellent visibility and low operating costs.
Hyster will display a new H25XM-12 model with IMT tyre handling attachment at the Ost (East) entrance to the exhibition grounds.

Hyster first to offer AxleTech XTL drive-axle in Europe
Hyster exclusively offers the AxleTech International XTL drive axle in Europe, featured on Hysters H16.00-22.00XM-12EC range of Empty Container Handlers and will be showcasing this new XTL drive-axle technology for the first time at the show.

Hyster claims the new drive axle design developed by AxleTech International will reduce tyre wear on its Empty Container Handlers and will help to reduce the overall cost of running heavy duty and empty container handling operations.

No other lift truck manufacturer has access to this technology across Europe says Antoon, explaining that this is another example of innovation that maintains Hysters reputation for dependability and low cost of ownership.  We can confidently prove that this new drive axle can extend tyre life and reduce costs for operations over the life of a contract.

Hyster demonstrates product versatility
Hyster will also demonstrate its commitment to industrial applications, from warehousing and distribution through to heavy duty construction and ports and terminals, by showcasing a variety of handling equipment from its extensive range.  P1.3 and P1.8 pallet trucks, the S1.6 pedestrian stacker and the R1.6H reach truck from Hysters Warehouse range will be on display and the company will showcase advances in 3D warehouse simulation to reduce capital risk.
The leading energy efficient J1.5XNT, J1.6XN and J3.0XN electric counterbalance forklift trucks will also be shown alongside IC-engined forklift trucks from the Fortens range including the H3.0FT and the H8.0FT6 models. In support, Hyster works with local distribution partners to deliver dynamic service support for maximum truck availability and utilisation, and experts will be available throughout the show offering advice for businesses of all sizes.
Visitors to the show will find Hyster and Zeppelin located in the outdoor exhibition area, outside Hall B6 and close to the Ost (East) entrance at Location F7, Stand 703/3.
