The awards will be presented at the CILT(UK) Cheshire Group First Annual Dinner on Friday 5th June at Cranage Hall, one of Cheshires more exciting but easily accessible settings.

CILTs North West Region Chairman Simon Reynish says: Recognition of individuals and organisations working in logistics & transport in the North West of England is long overdue and I hope that this inaugural presentation will be the start of a tradition that the area and the industry can be justly proud.

Mr Reynish also commended the North West companies who, in spite of the current difficult economic climate, had already committed to sponsoring an award or part of the occasion and challenged others to take up the remaining opportunities to support the event.
