Auto Windscreens appoints to warehouse operations manager role

Auto Windscreens, the national automotive glazing services company, has appointed Joanne Shore, from Birmingham, as its Warehouse Operations Manager.

In the role Joanne will be responsible for managing operations and health and safety at Auto Windscreens 100,000 sq ft stock distribution facility in Witton, Birmingham. The facility distributes up to 3,000 automotive glazing parts to Auto Windscreens nationwide network of 98 fitting centres on a daily basis.

Joanne brings a wealth of experience in supply chain management and automotive logistics to the role. She joins from Parcel Force where she was a manager responsible for processing up to 300,000 parcels per day. Prior to this, she spent 10 years with Unipart Logistics, where she worked on the Jaguar Cars contract.

Commenting on her new role Joanne said: Working with my team of supervisors and team leaders our aim is to drive performance and delivery improvements to improve service to Auto Windscreens fitting centre network, by building a world class distribution centre which is proactive in its approach and supports the goals of the business.

She added: I am committed to building what will ultimately become the benchmark warehouse for others in the glass industry.

Outside work Joanne, who is married with two young children, enjoys spending time with her family, going to gigs, the cinema and listening to music.
