Cat Lift Trucks extends order picking range

For users who require a simple, straightforward and cost-effective order picking solution, Cat Lift Trucks has recently added a new model to its range - the NO20NT stand-on low level order picker.

The NO20NT, which comes with a 2.0 tonne lift capacity, has a 1,928mm wheelbase, 1,150mm long forks and a maximum travel speed of 9km/h, and features a simple tiller arm control, angled for comfortable operation.

The new truck extends the Cat range of low-level order pickers to every conceivable configuration. The range is divided into two groups - the short wheelbase NOL-N range and the longer wheelbase NO-N trucks. Included in the former are the NOL10N, a 1.0 tonne truck with lifting platform; the NOL10NF, which features both rising platform and rising forks; and the NOL10NV, which allows for manual fork positioning.

The longer wheelbase units include the NO10NSF, a 1.0 tonne unit with rising forks; the NO10NSPF, a 1.0 tonne unit with both rising forks and rising platform; the NO20NS, a 2.0 tonne model; and the NO20NSP, a 2.0 tonne unit with rising platform.

Cats low level order pickers include trucks suited to both first and second level order picking and both single and double pallet handling operations.

Standard features include a battery discharge indicator that incorporates a lift cut-out function for battery protection, regenerative braking to help maximise shift time between charges, PIN code startup (optional on the NO20NT) and driver-specific settings.

All the trucks benefit from fast acceleration and excellent manoeuvrability with automatic speed reduction in curves, and steering wheel-equipped models also incorporate a multi-function display that provides critical information to operators about key truck functions such as drive wheel direction and truck speed.

All the trucks additionally benefit from AC drive technology, which makes for enhanced performance and reduced maintenance requirements compared to traditional DC motors, maximising reliability and uptime for the end user and simplifying the  maintenance work that does need to take place. An easy-access, fold-open battery compartment and battery roll-out system are provided as standard on all models for quick, efficient battery changes. All also incorporate a service counter indicating when scheduled maintenance is due.

Options include rubber bumpers, shrinkwrap holders, picking list/data terminal holders and special colours/customisable sideplates.
