Karen Millen launches online store with Amethyst fulfilment

Successful womens fashion retailer Karen Millen is to open its first online store (www.karenmillen.com) where their full range of clothing, footwear and accessories will be available.

The fulfilment is being carried out by leading third party logistics provider Amethyst, integrating with e-commerce service providers Fresca. The transactional website will go live on the 11th September. Amethyst already fulfil the Oasis and Coast websites providing the order processing, packaging, shipping and data-handling operations.

Julien Shirley, Mosaic Group e-commerce Manager said: I am exceptionally happy with the service I get from Amethyst and following the tremendous success of the Oasis and Coast online stores, we had no hesitation in selecting Amethyst for our Karen Millen operation. Using Amethysts specialist experience in back end e-fulfilment services allows us to focus on our core business.

Bob Kemp, C.E.O of Amethyst Group, said Amethyst is building a reputation as a trusted supplier of internet fulfilment services to the fashion industry. In partnership with Karen Millen our dedicated team will build on the phenomenal sales enjoyed by other Mosaic Group brands already trading in the e-retail environment.

Amethyst is targeting businesses in the clothing, footwear and accessories sector and has recruited from within the fashion industry to bring specific product understanding as well as investing heavily in both flat and hanging storage solutions and processing facilities.
