Available with hydrostatic drive to complement the existing torque converter range, the new series 4 is capable of lifting loads of up to 3500kg up to heights of 7.5 meters and is available in both diesel and LPG versions.

In simple terms, by their very nature hydrostatic trucks are particularly suited to highly intensive materials handling operations.  A hydrostatic truck is the ideal choice for applications involving a lot of shuttling operations such as lorry loading and unloading and around a busy warehouse or factory environment.

With the new hydrostatic truck, acceleration is fast and direct, while changes in direction are effortless and smooth, not to mention mechanically wear free.  Even when operating outside in the wet, Jungheinrichs new 4 series can change travel direction without wheel spinning and, with tyre wear adding significantly to the weekly cost of operating a counterbalanced truck, this feature is certain to be of interest to cost-conscious fleet managers.

The new trucks offer exceptional stability when cornering.  They feature a short chassis, a specially-designed counterweight and a high-pivot mounted steer axle all of which combine to give the truck an extremely low centre of gravity and outstanding dynamic stability.  This means that the truck can take corners safely without the need for complex electronic components that frequently require maintenance and servicing.

The trucks engines are supplied by Volkswagen and have been designed to offer the lowest noise levels and emissions, while returning particularly low fuel consumption.  Test cycles have shown that over the course of 2000 hours of typical operation the new hydrostatic truck will save on average 1000 in fuel costs in comparison with a standard conventional converter counterbalance truck a significant potential saving for companies running a large forklift fleet.

At the drivers ear the noise level is on average 3dB(A) quieter than other comparable models on the market.

As youd expect from all Jungheinrich products, the new 4 series provides a high degree of operator comfort and safety.  The positioning of the lift cylinders in relation to the mast channels increases forward visibility for all load handling operations.  The low height counterweight increases rearward visibility and the bullet-proof glass featured as standard in the roof instead of conventional steel bars, provides uninterrupted upward visibility thereby further enhancing the operators all round visibility.

Jungheinrich are offering free demonstration trucks to help users understand the productivity and cost savings offered by the new range.
