Looking for a storage and/or a distribution hub in the north of England? Well look no further than Onward Holdings Ltd's stand 8101 at this year's Multimodal show in April, where it will be promoting different warehouse options suitable for freight forwarding.

The family-run business is showcasing its newly-refurbished facility at Normanton 108, near Wakefield in West Yorkshire, which provides over 108,000sqft of available warehouse space within one of the UK's most sought after distribution and manufacturing locations.

In addition to Normanton, Onward Holdings will be exhibiting sites at Featherstone, where it has two plots of land available for design and build opportunities at Onward Park, which is within touching distance of the M62, along with Castleford, a purpose built, managed 3PL warehousing complex prominently located in the heart of Yorkshire close to the major motorway networks such as the A1 and M1.

Onward Holdings' available units incorporate a host of features, including dock loading bays and drive-through surface doors, making them suitable for a huge range of delivery related activities including food, packaging, electrical, household goods, car parts and agricultural products.

All the warehouse units available from the company include 24-hour security and flexible leases, offering the perfect package to help companies maximise their supply chains.

It is feared that record high levels of occupier take-up, coupled with a shortfall in supply levels of suitable logistics and industrial space in Yorkshire, could put the brake on economic development in one of the UK's most important regions.

Onward Holdings is confident of attracting a flood of enquiries to its stand at Multimodal by offering over a quarter of a million square feet of warehouse space ready for occupation and within easy reach of the major motorway networks for fast delivery to all parts of the UK, the Humber ports and regional airports.

Onward Holdings' director, Neil Storey, said: "We are thrilled to be exhibiting at Multimodal again.

We will be highlighting a number of units suitable for logistics operations in Yorkshire. Our success in supplying high quality warehousing for a variety of sectors, such as e-commerce, food, high end goods and packaging, makes us one of the leading industrial space providers in the region."

At Multimodal, Onward Holdings will be exhibiting a range of logistics options to suit most budgets, together with additional value-added warehouse services. The different facilities that the company offers can help businesses gain a vital foothold in the northern supply chain.

Site promotions are being handled by Ian McPhail of Knight Frank of Leeds and Andrew Miller Chartered Surveyors of Sheffield.
