Travel retail specialist MSX (Macintyre Scott Xtra) is now delivering Adnams beer and spirits into some of the UK's best-known cruise ships, having just been appointed as its travel retail warehousing and logistics partner.

MSX has been appointed to store and deliver Adnams full range of beers and spirits including Ghost Ship Pale Ale, the Jack Brand range of hand-crafted beers, Copper House Dry Gin and East Coast barley vodka, to the UK travel retail market.

Within the first week, MSX secured the tender to supply Adnams First Rate Gin into Brittany Ferries fleet of nine ships, the most modern on the channel.

This is the first time MSX has worked with Adnams and will see the firms working in partnership, with the specific aim of helping the brand grow its share of the travel retail market.

Managing partner of MSX, Nicola Ridges-Jones, said: "We are delighted to provide warehousing and logistics for Adnams roster of popular beers and hand-crafted spirits. It's a perfect partnership, with Adnams, like us, placing quality, integrity and commitment at the heart of its ethos.

"Delivery of spirits to cruise ships and ferries is a particularly specialised side of travel retail logistics, with vessels on tight turnaround times making promptness more important than ever. Having honed our timing to perfection over decades of experience, we know that we will deliver on time, every time, for Adnams."

International development manager for Adnams, Eleanor Bannister, said: "We are also delighted to be working closely with MSX to build our brand and award-winning beers and spirits among the cruise industry. MSX have already proved to be a proactive, focused and natural brand ambassador so I have no doubt that combined with Adnams crafted beers and spirits, we have a winning combination."
