Panther Warehousing is gearing up to launch a new service. The dedicated white-glove two-man delivery specialist has unveiled plans for a new Deliver and Build service – and is claimed to put an end to the stress that many associate with self-assembly goods.
The new service, which will be trialled later this year in the run up to peak before its full launch in March 2016, will give customers the option of having their home delivery orders assembled for them. The self-assembly items include bed frames, divan sets and other household furniture. It is also thought that the service could be used for some remedial work, for example replacement of wardrobe doors.
And in addition to the new offering, customers will continue to benefit from Panther's flexible service which includes next day delivery as well as allowing customers to select a specific delivery date up to 30 days in advance.
According to Panther, this new service is an industry first – once again giving Northampton-based Panther the competitive edge and further cementing its position as a market leader.

Panther has enjoyed continued success since reinventing itself five years ago when the business opted to focus on one niche area – the next day, two-man delivery of household furniture and other heavy items. It was a decision that paid off for the business and Panther has gone on to both its expand its range of services to include Saturday delivery as well as its presence in the UK.
Panther has become a well-known name among retailers keen to partner with the company to help give them a competitive edge.
Also earlier this year, Panther joined forces with Mattress Online after its previous delivery provider was unable to offer next day service for two man. Its specialist service helped the business win Etailer of the Year at the National Bed Federation Awards.
