Cartwright's Scottish Office has recently won a major order with Caledonian Logistics. The order is for 10 standard Cartwright curtainsiders and five double deck curtainsiders.

It is the first time that Caledonian has purchased new build trailers from Cartwright, although the company has been a major rentals customer for 18 months.

Caledonian Logistics has been established for 16 years and has main depots in Aberdeen, Inverness and Glasgow. It operates three main divisions – a division for general pallet movements, a long distance delivery division and a storage division and has been a member of the Palletways pallet network since 2000. Its company motto is 'keeping an eye on your freight'.

Derek Howie, Cartwright's Scottish Regional Sales Manager commented: "Caledonian Logistics has been a valued rentals customer of Cartwright and we are delighted they have taken the decision to buy new trailers from us. They are a great company to do business with and we sincerely hope this is the beginning of a new chapter in our relationship."

Derek Mitchell Managing Director of Caledonian Logistics commented: "Cartwright are an established British company with a very good reputation and quality products. The service from them has been very good. The new trailers will be used for general haulage and we will also continue to rent trailers from Cartwright on an ad hoc basis. They are our first port of call due to their flexibility and availability of rental products particularly as their depot is in close proximity to us," he added.
