This Valentine's, international courier ParcelHero is turning Cupid. Rather than just sending parcels overseas, ParcelHero will be holding a competition to fly two lucky lovers to Rome.

The domestic and international delivery company is offering UK residents the chance to win two tickets to fly to Rome as part of its #senditwithlove Valentines Facebook competition. To win a trip to the 'eternal city', as well as £250 spending money, all entrants need to do is tell ParcelHero what is the most romantic thing they have ever done.

Says ParcelHero's David Jinks, Head of Public Relations: 'It really is simple to enter our #senditwithlove competition. We just want to hear your most romantic story, and the one that impresses ParcelHero's passionate panel of judges the most win will free return flights and £250 to spend.'

David continues: 'With its ancient ruins, tempting food and breath-taking views, we think Rome is easily one of the world's most romantic cities. From the golden age of the Roman empire to the present day home of countless artists, writers and filmmakers; a spirit of passion, playfulness and love has infused the city for centuries.'

David points out: 'It's no coincidence that many Valentine's traditions were reportedly born in Rome. Legend has it, Saint Valentine himself was a Roman priest: Valentinus, who was persecuted for his beliefs. When Emperor Claudius outlawed marriage for his soldiers, Valentinus secretly performed marriages for Roman lovers.'

The legend of the Trevi Fountain says that anyone who throws a coin into the Trevi Fountain will be assured of their return to the eternal city. And anyone who throws two coins in will return to Rome and fall in love. Three coins? You will return to Rome, fall in love and be married. David says: 'Who knows what could happen to our lucky winners?'
