One of Palletforce's founder shareholder members – Transaction International – has added to its haulage fleet with the acquisition of three new trucks.

The Buckinghamshire-based warehousing, distribution and freight operator invested in the three DAF trucks in May, to add to its already substantial fleet of trucks and articulated lorries ranging in size from 7.5 tonnes to 28 tonnes which operate from its 31,000 sq ft warehouse in Long Crendon close to the M40.

Transaction International was set up in 1985 by Adrian Johnstone, and has twice been awarded the BIFA Freight Service 'Logistics Distribution' award which is given solely on the basis of customer endorsement.

"As our business continues to go from strength to strength, we have invested in three new trucks to help us keep up with demand from our customers. The haulage industry is still growing and businesses continue to use the road network to move goods around the country and beyond," said Adrian.

"We are known for delivering quality service and providing a comprehensive transportation solution and are proud to work with Palletforce to look after our customers' needs."

"It's fantastic that Transaction International is continuing to invest in its fleet and offer an even better service for its customers," said Dave Holland, Sales and Marketing Director of Palletforce.

"Transaction is a founding shareholder member of Palletforce and are extremely proud to have them on board at Palletforce."

Palletforce is the UK and Europe's leading palletised network, with over 100 depots operating from its £30m distribution hub in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire. Adrian sits on the Palletforce board as non-executive director representing the shareholder members of Palletforce.
